LEAD PASTOR

Gabe leads with a heart for authentic faith and community transformation ever since he encountered Jesus in his late 20s. Radically changed and shaped by the Gospel, he seeks to lead others to find their true purpose serving God.

He holds a degree in Bible and Theology from California Christian College. He previously served as FCOG Youth Pastor and Interim Pastor between 2010-2013. Gabe has worked to engage youth and broken communities, partnering with other like-minded organizations.

Gabe, a Fresno native, and his wife, Kimberly, recently returned home in May 2025 after spending the previous 10 years in Colorado.

WORSHIP PASTORS

Matt and Robin consider it a privilege to use their talents to usher others into His presence.  They believe we were made to worship Him and as we grow in worship, the more we fall deeper in love and knowledge of His love for us.

They met in the youth choir at Cross Church in Fresno when they were 15 years old, and were married at First Church of God, Fresno eight years later, where they have served in leading others to worship for 37 years.

Both Fresno State Graduates, Matt is an elementary school principal and Robin is a graphic designer. They have a 19-year-old daughter, Maggie and 14-year-old son, Marcus.

COMMUNITY MINISTERIAL TEAM

Eric and Andrea carry a deep passion for serving others – especially in strengthening marriages, relationships, and families – to see people encounter Jesus and thrive in healthy, Christ-centered homes.

Andrea holds a master’s degree in nursing and worked for 25 years as an ICU nurse. Eric spent two years serving at Cove Church in Eugene, Oregon before they moved to Fresno in 2024 to become missionaries with One Collective.

They have three children: Iverson, Brayden (Brady), and Hadley. Brady and Hadley serve alongside them here in Fresno, while Iverson is currently in Arizona.

LEAD ADMINISTRATOR

Andrea serves with a heart for discipleship, encouragement, and helping others discover their identity and purpose in Christ.

She holds a Master of Business Administration and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Christian Ministry at Grand Canyon University. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the insurance industry, Andrea now serves in ministry with a desire to equip, mentor, and encourage people through biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and Christ-centered leadership.

A Fresno native, Andrea is committed to serving her church and community while answering God's call to invest in the next generation of believers through discipleship, leadership development, and compassionate ministry.

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN & YOUTH

Born and raised in California's Central Valley, Kalop Harvey is the father of three children and grandfather of five. Raised by his grandparents, he was deeply influenced by their faithful example. Growing up in a local Southern Baptist church where his grandfather served as a church planter and pastor, Kalop developed a lifelong love for the local church, God's Word, and investing in the next generation.

Kalop is passionate about helping children, students, and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through Biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and intentional discipleship. He is committed to equipping parents and ministry volunteers while creating environments where young people can develop a genuine faith, understand Scripture, and discover how God has gifted them to serve others.

Kalop is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Fresno Church of God and considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families as they grow in their faith. His prayer is that people would be rooted in God's Word, actively engaged in the life of the local church, and equipped to live out the gospel for the glory of God.

ACCOUNTANT

Shirley is a Fresno native and has been a life-long member at First Church of God, Fresno.  She holds a degree in Accounting from California State University, Fresno and considers it a privilege to use her knowledge of accounting as she serves as Business Administrator/Accountant of the Early Enrichment Center.

Her love and passion for EEC extends to when both of her children attended the preschool and later the Academy through sixth grade.  Two of her four grandchildren have also attended the preschool.  She has also served on the School Board several times including a term as Chair.

Shirley enjoys spending her personal time with family, friends and her dogs.  She rescued most of her pack while volunteering as a rescuer and foster.
